I wrote my first song when I was 17 years old and I just turned 77!  I write in a single genre, Americana, which I define as urban folk country gospel blues punk rock and roll with an occasional accordion.  I believe a good song needs to tell a story, better if it paints a picture, and best if it shows you a movie that was the same movie the songwriter saw when they wrote it.  I took the photo of the Nepalese girl in the Peyote Music logo in Kathmandu in 1993 and I last traveled to Kathmandu in October of 2022.  I am fortunate to have some extremely talented musician friends who occasionally play at our house.  Let me know if you'd like to come to a Music Night some time.
