Ride On

I rode into town just about dawn, Ride On.

I was lookin' for a place where I could belong, Ride On.

I just wanted to play my song

But I stayed too long, did a few things wrong.

Early next morning I said so long, Ride On.

Yeh, Early in the morning I said so long, Ride On.

She stand there and shimmy. She say gimme gimme gimme, Ride On.

She said I'll be your sinner if you take me out to dinner, Ride On.

But she didn't eat much, she just slopped at the trough

With her clothes half off and that rattlin' cough.

It's a shame what we do just to get ourselves off, Ride On.

It's a shame what we do just to get ourselves off, Ride On.

They wanna use you but they don't want you, Ride On.

They wanna abuse you.  Ah the things they can do, Ride On.

With their yellow teeth an’ their dirty hands,

An’ their thick hard thighs an’ their sweaty glands,

They know what you want but they got other plans, Ride On.

They know what you want but they got other plans, Ride On.

Now you can't believe everything that you're told, Ride On.

Every story about the glory that's yours if your bold, Ride On.

If you think everybody's good and everything's fair

And everything you got you oughta wanna share

Then drop your pants and bend over that chair, Ride On.

Then drop your pants and bend over that chair, Ride On.

Yeah, she stand there and shimmy.

I rode into town just about dawn, Ride On.

I was lookin' for a place where I could belong, Ride On.

I just wanted to play my songs

But I stayed too long, did a few things wrong.

An’ then early in the morning I said so long, Ride On.

Yeh, early next morning I said so long, Ride On.

NOTES: Carol told me that I was using the expression "Right on!" incorrectly.  She said it was a biker thing and I should be saying "Ride on!" so I wrote this tune to convey the sentiment that I thought should go with that expression.
